2008 Mississippi Hot Air Balloon Championship & Festival
July 4th - 6th 2008
Dozens of hot air balloons will lead a fun-filled weekend for children and adults of all ages. The three-day event will include four competitive balloon races, two spectacular balloon glows, two incredible firework presentations, children’s activities, great food, and great entertainment.
The City of Canton Parks and Recreation in collaboration with Mid-Mississippi Balloon Association and The Good Samaritan Center Inc., invite you to the 22nd Annual Mississippi Championship Hot Air Balloon Race and Festival.
The Festival is fund-raiser for the Good Samaritan Center Inc. If you would like to be involved in this event as a volunteer or as sponsor please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Our Main Events.
The Ridgeland balloon glow and fireworks will be held at Northpark Mall on Friday night, July 4th.
The Canton balloon glow and fireworks will be held at the Canton Multi Purpose Center on Saturday night, July 5th.
